По крайней мере простой лох, если он чего-то наврал, можно сказать - ну ты, лох, думаешь, так, я, другой лох, иначе, каждый останется при своём лоховском мнении. Opinions like assholes, это нормально. Тут же за спиной Иксперда (ТМ) стоит авторитет Ноуки (ТМ) - ты что же, мракобес, сука?! В Бобруйск ездил?!!!

И конечно, неглупый человек, как Харрис, не может всего этого не понимать. Не может не знать, какой вес имеют его слова, и охотно этим пользуется. Собственно, именно поэтому и пользуется, и именно поэтому к нему обращаются - из-за веса. Он не может не знать, но он считает, что для хорошего дела - вполне ок, наоборот, даже героически - Иксперды (ТМ) на службе прогресса.

И вот рано или поздно оказывается, что враньё, которому он служил - оказалось враньём. И он это знал - или должен был знать - и тем не менее служил, потому что были Хорошие Причины. И тут Иксперд (ТМ) перекидывается через голову, и заявляет - а меня обманули! Я ничего не понимал! Меня ввели в заблуждение Плохие Люди, а я лишь невинно им поверил! Т.е. провравшись однажды, он не приходит с повинной и не говорит - извините, я поступил плохо, увлёкся партийными делами и использовал свою экспертизу для обмана. Простите, люди добрые, больше так не буду. Нет, хуй там. Он продолжает врать, теперь уже на новую мелодию - тогда это было враньё, но теперь-то мои глаза открылись! Теперь-то мне, вашему самому честному и профессиональному Иксперду (ТМ), точно можно верить, теперь-то всё ясно! Я тут не при чём, я чист, Плохие Люди разоблачены и даже написали книги "Как мы были плохими людьми, а теперь хорошие!" и получат за них миллионные гонорары, а вы снова можете доверять своему дружелюбному соседскому Иксперду (ТМ), как и раньше!

Вот эта черта и есть самая мерзкая, кмк, в этих всех людях. То, что их абсолютно ничто не берёт, и ответом на любое разоблачение их вранья является новое и новое враньё. Ну и то, что их последователей это абсолютно не парит - ни разоблачение вранья, ни утверждение Иксперда (ТМ), что его можно легко водить за нос, но это ровно никак не влияет на то, что ему нужно доверять - ровно ничего.

P.S. я знаю, что лично Харрис - один из тех людей, у которых на языке всё, что у большинства демократов на уме, и что он известен заявлениями вроде "Hunter Biden literally could have had the corpses of children in his basement, I would not have cared". Проблема не лично в нём, а в том, что это абсолютно стандартный паттерн - практически без отклонений. Реально, я что-то не могу припомнить ни одной левой фигуры, которая бы покаялась хоть по одному эпизоду из того вала вранья, что мы наблюдали за бидоновскую каденцию.

Не то, чтобы приличных людей слева вообще нет - редко, но бывают, Таибби или Гринвальд, например. Но они давно порвали с партийной повесткой ещё до этого. А из тех, что в последнем балагане участвовали - ни одного, получается?
